  As an External Supply Chain Operations Manager you will provide Operational execution and oversight for a set of External Supply Chain partner relationships. In collaboration with the leadership team, you will help guide strategic direction and serve as the escalation point between Kellanova and its External Supply Chain partners. In addition, this role interfaces with and provides end to end partnership with other key functions such as Quality, RQT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Logistics etc. to accomplish this mission.

  A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Operational Performance to ensure delivery of quality, service, cost, innovation and continuous improvements - Drive operational excellence for food safety/quality, service, OEE and waste. Perform operational performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leadership - Develop and drive comprehensive execution for the assigned locations
  • Think Fiscally - Develop and maintain annual Budget for assigned locations. Monitoring and understanding of PPV variances and provide an update to risk and opportunities.
  • Support Innovation - Support the innovation team directly and indirectly from PDR1 through start up. Provide direct person to person functional links between Kellanova and the External Partner.

  Your Recipe for Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus experience in Supply Chain or related areas.
  • Requires strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Prefer manufacturing, engineering and/or supply chain experience coupled with an understanding of what drives success in the business.
  • Must have proven developing track record and ability to work with all levels of management and with external supply chain companies.
  • Strong understanding of supplier relationship management.
