      SUMMARY: Owasso High school is offering online summer school for any level of students including seniors who need a ½ or full credit to graduate (Grad Lab), any student needing credit recovery, or any student who wants to take a class for “first time credit”. Students will be completing courses via Edgenuity online software. Teachers will facilitate, monitor, and motivate students as they work their way through the online curriculum.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      1. Bachelor’s degree

      2. Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate

      KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong belief in the ability of all students to achieve, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, enjoy mentoring at risk youth.

      LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English language.

      MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

      REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

      LICENSES and REGISTRATIONS:

      Current driver’s license in good standing.
