Job Description
- Req#: EXTRU010363
- Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce plastic products according to specifications.
- Monitor the production process, adjusting as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the extrusion equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure scrap and non-conforming products are kept to a minimum and disposed of correctly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling used in extrusion operations.
- Ability to assemble, fabricate, and weld components as needed.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of extrusion equipment.
