- The food and beverage coordinator takes on the administrative responsibilities of the Restaurant outlets as well as Food & Beverage department at large.
- Responsible for creating and approving food and drink menus for events in accordance with F&B Manager or Director.
- Ordering, taking inventory of stock, maintaining records of purchase and sales and assisting in event planning.
- Have the necessary knowledge of food preparation for event planning procedures.
- Required to take on not only their own restaurants but also handle room service and special events.
- When events are planned, you are required to arrange the catering and purchasing and oversee that the event runs smoothly on this end.
- Oversee the area of the Kids Play Park and plan and arrange all necessary functions thereof.
- Any other duties as assigned
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
- Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
- Competency using a variety of computer software.
- You should be familiar with basic Microsoft Office tools and accounting software.
- You are a multi-tasker and are able to work independently, performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support your team.
- You communicate well with all contacts, anticipate and resolve issues, and update team your various projects.
- At least 3years of experience in Event Coordination and/or Food & Beverage scope.
- An appropriate degree in administration, as the role is primarily administration-based.
- A degree in hospitality management or tourism as alternative with extensive experience is essential.
