      Job Summary:
      We are seeking an experienced and skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced hospitality professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our hotel.
      Key Responsibilities:
      • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
      • Ensure that all food and beverage outlets are clean, well-maintained, and meet quality and safety standards
      • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue in food and beverage outlets
      • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement promotions
      • Ensure that all food and beverage staff are trained and knowledgeable about menus, ingredients, and preparation methods
      • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
      • Participate in inventory management and cost control initiatives to minimize waste and optimize profitability
      • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, including food safety and sanitation standards
      Requirements:
      • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment
      • Proven experience in managing and supervising a team
      • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and inventory management
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
      • Certification in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe, is an asset
