- Coordinate LPT/TEC system and component level investigations on F117 engine and C-17 aircraft interface issues to identify root cause of anomalies and identify improvements.
- Form and lead cross functional teams with the customer, CSE, and CIPTs to resolve F117 engine operation, test, troubleshooting and logistical issues.
- Coordinate with CIPTs to support activities involved in DR, SIB, or SIO investigations.
- Lead, coordinate, and present technical topics during C-17/F117 Propulsion Technical Meetings and Propulsion Users Conferences
- Present major issues and solutions to internal management team and external customers in various communications meetings.
- Author Position Papers (PP) to convey Pratt & Whitney's technical recommendations to F117 customers upon resolution of complex technical issues.
- Drive customer satisfaction by influencing the design for supportability, maintainability, and life cycle cost.
- Provide timely and complete responses to FSR inquiries and customer technical questions; track questions/responses appropriately.
- Mark up existing F117 engine and maintenance manuals to capture changes required through CCB, ECP, REA, or in support of Tech Order improvements.
- Support development of Engineering Authorization (EAs) and Service Bulletins (SBs).
- Demonstrate adaptability and capability to manage multiple priority task in parallel
- Using previous experience to provide opportunistic guidance and peer coaching as it relates to core competencies.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical field is required with a 5+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
- A minimum of 5 years experience working with F117-PW-100 or similar power plant is required.
- Knowledge of turbine engine hardware design and maintenance practices.
- Experience with P&W engineering processes.
- Multi-tasking and logistics management skills are a must.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- MBA or MS in Management is preferred but not required.
- Military Propulsion System Maintenance experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that the responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Job Summary:
F117-PW-100 Customer Support Engineering has an exciting and challenging leadership position as a Customer Support Engineer (CSE). This position will be responsible for Low Pressure Turbine and Turbine Exhaust Case systems for F117-PW-100 engines.
The candidate should have demonstrated ability in the following areas: installation, operation, maintenance, repair and modification of equipment, controls, or ancillary products. Guidance and training provided to F117 customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques. Analysis of hardware and propulsion system failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
