What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accordance with university learning objectives and course outlines
- Engage with students to foster academic rigor and success, responding to inquiries in a timely manner
- Perform additional duties such as coaching, tutoring, and overseeing student clinical experiences as required
- Attend faculty meetings and university events to maintain engagement and knowledge of university updates
- Maintain current professional knowledge through continuous education and professional development activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in Nursing or a related field, or a Master’s degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical nursing practice setting as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with at least 2 years of current experience
- Active unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
- National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and online teaching technologies
