PERFORMS SUCH TYPICAL DISTINGUISHING DUTIES AS:

This classification requires on-the-job training and performance of diverse assignments related to Fabrication and Structures Development Mechanic (RP4073) and Trainee (RP4071) activities for the purpose of acquiring training and experience to satisfactorily perform the distinguishing requirements of the classification.

Employees will perform the functions of the above referenced classification and must demonstrate successful completion of assignments with a level of oversight and instruction, where appropriate.


NOTE: To be successful for promotion to the Fabrication and Structures Development Mechanic Trainee (RP4071), an employee should complete the following training courses be proficient in the following skillsets:
• Beginner level knowledge of aircraft build, sequence, structures, manufacturing and assembly techniques
• Entry level blueprint and technical data comprehension
• Intermediate knowledge of composite manufacturing
• Elementary knowledge of sheet metal fabrication layout and processes

A satisfactory assessment by the Company of the employee’s performance will qualify the employee for upgrade.

It is the intent to use this classification for the purpose of training employees having limited experience in the above-mentioned classification.

Must be able to obtain a valid A&P License and/or education and training required to upgrade to a Fabrication and Structures Development Mechanic Trainee (RP4071). Basic Qualifications :
