Job Description

- Ability to run equipment throughout the fabrication department
- Ability to use and understand AS400
- Ability to read prints and be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other Duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
- Fabrication Operator experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
- Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations
- Maintain clean and safe work environment

Fab Operator - 1st Shift - Salina, KS
Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Fab Operator to join our team at the CE facility in Salina, KS.
This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
