- Programming Sheet Metal parts and tubing for, Amanda Laser/Punch Machines, and Trumpf Combo
- Working with Cadkey 99 R1.0, solidworks, AP100US, Sheetworks, Dr. Abe Tube, TruTop Boost
- Create detail form or weld drawings for shop Technical Background: (Required Skill-set)
- Must be proficient in either AutoCAD, or FabriWin/AP100
- Skilled and proficient in SolidWorks 3D, FabriWin/AP100, AutoCAD
- Program parts for Tube laser, Flat Bed Laser, and NC Turret Punch
- Working with Manufacturing Engineering to develop Part Methods to minimize changes and shorten lead times thru production.
- Working with Engineering & Customer to resolve drawing issues & manufacturing problems.
- Programming robotic bending cell and TruBend stand alone press brake using TruTops Boost.
- Work with the technicians to check on your programs, to ensure they are running at 100% efficient.
- High School or Engineering certificate from a college or trade school preferred
- 5 years experience in Laser programming in sheet metal.
- Knowledgeable of GD&T, ability to read blue prints
- Strong mathematical, organizational and planning skills
- Knowledgeable with all Sheet metal processes
- Ability to recognize and address problems in the production process.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and create detailed setup sheets for production.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.

The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. Supporting diverse technology sectors including semiconductor, telecommunications, and medical equipment, the Fremont facility offers a wide array of services including sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting and clean room assembly.
Job Purpose:
The NC Laser/Punch and Bending Programmer/Engineer will be required to program using TruTops Boost and AP100 for Amada and Trumpf Machinery. Also the Programmer/Engineer will be required to work closing with the NC Operators to ensure that the programs are running correctly.

Salary Range (annual): $83,000 - $93,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
