      Summary:
      Fabricators create or prepare parts and raw material for other work areas by operating machines such as a cut-off saws, shears, rollers, drill presses, planers, and punching equipment and hand tools such as grinders, bevel mills, sanders and drills.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • At all times ensures safety is the top priority while performing any part of your job
      • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions provided by Production Supervisor
      • Read and comprehend basic blueprints
      • Safely operate hand tools (grinders, bevel mills, drills, etc.)
      • Able to obtain needed information from print repository and MRP programs
      • Obtain and maintain fork lift certification
      • Independent operator of at least 2 fabrication machines (excluding lasers and press brakes)
      • Other duties as assigned.

      • Education and/or Experience
        • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using blue prints and tape measures.
