- Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
- Follow written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
- Facilitate learning discussions, learning activities, coaching, and small group interactions.
- Instruct employees on job specific technical and customer service skills in multiple learning environments including classrooms, labs, and virtual capabilities.
- Identify employee performance level and provides developmental feedback.
- Support peers, customers, management and Instructional Design and Development on business initiatives, development of curriculum and learning solutions.
- Maintain business and learning skills/acumen through skills update and professional development.
- Identify needed course maintenance, makes recommendations and completes course revisions as appropriate.
- May play role of Producer for virtual courses as a learning opportunity for courses not yet fully qualified to facilitate.
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required for a total of 6 years) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 2 years facilitator/instructional experience to include business relevant training, teaching, coaching, training design, development, facilitation and/or learning deployment; or progressive operational experience with a concentration on teaching/training/coaching.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, facilitate training, and provide one-on-one coaching.
- Developing knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles and instructional design model.
- Experience with Virtual Technology and ability to deliver training remotely.
- Applicable licenses as required by CoSA.
- Experience as a property adjuster handling moderate to complex claims
- Ability to maintain/obtain applicable licenses as required: Texas Adjuster License and/or Florida Adjuster License for 5 years OR (in lieu of Texas and/or Florida Adjuster License) an Industry recognized insurance related designation (i.e. CPCU, AIC, CLU or other insurance related designations other than SCLA).
- Experience coaching peers handling property claims, including virtual/distance learning sessions (using Zoom or other virtual training platforms)
- Xactimate Certification Level I, II, and/or III
- Flexible and open to changes in work tasking and schedule, can travel up to 25% of the time and ability to work outside of core hours as needed
- P&C professional designation

The Opportunity
We are seeking up to 2 Property Facilitators. These Facilitators will work in a flexible work environment that requires the individual to be in the office 4 days per week. These positions can be based from our Tampa, FL office locations. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
This role will be responsible for facilitating and delivering training programs to attain learning objectives and meet learners needs. This includes facilitating learning on a variety of subjects including complex technical acumen, customer service skills and USAA culture. Supports facilitation of programs that foster employee growth. Facilitated learning can take place in person or via virtual environment.The Opportunity

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $55,580.00 – 93,780.00.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
