      POSITION PURPOSE
      Responsible for ensuring the Credit Union's building systems and equipment are functioning properly and are maintained in excellent condition. Maintains and inspects lease space, open property, buildings, equipment, utilities, furnishings, and grounds. Assumes indirect responsibility for maintenance and landscaping of assigned areas. Performs preventative maintenance, makes minor repairs, assists outside service personnel and vendors as needed. Reports major repair and maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

      • Ensures that building equipment and systems are kept in proper working order and repaired when necessary.
      • Maintains department storage space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
      • Receives, manages, and processes work order requests and ensures problems are resolved quickly.
      • Reviews scheduled cleaning work completed by outside janitorial services.
      • Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and cleaning.
      • Completes inspections and test while maintaining logs and records results.
      • Performs maintenance on security systems, door locks, etc.
      • Provides emergency 24-hour on-call service as required.
      • Completes assigned maintenance functions in accordance with established policies and procedures, and with ADA and OSHA regulations.
      • Travels to all branches within the Kemba Credit Union network to address maintenance requests as needed.

      WEEKLY SHIFT SCHEDULE
      This part-time position requires employees to work three days per week.
      The days below are flexible and can be tailored to accommodate individual availability and business requirements.

      • Sunday: CLOSED
      • Monday: 8:30am-5:00pm
      • Tuesday: OFF
      • Wednesday: 8:30am-5:00pm
      • Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm
      • Friday: OFF
      • Saturday: OFF

      ON CALL REQUIREMENT
      Must be available to provide emergency 24-hour on-call service as required.

      TRAVEL
      This position will travel frequently to address maintenance requests to all branches within the Kemba Credit Union network.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
      A minimum of at least one of the following:
      (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program, or (5) 5 years of related experience.

      REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
      Knowledge of facilities equipment and maintenance procedures.

      EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
      One year to three years of similar or related experience.

      SKILLS/ABILITIES:
      Good communication skills.
      Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
      Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
      Ability to travel to all of Kemba Credit Union's branches.
