Basic Qualifications
• Candidate must obtain and maintain a Secret
Security Clearance.
• Minimum of four years Commercial / Industrial experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Hold a current EPA 608 Universal Certification working in a commercial environment.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and work from electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work from a variety of aerial lift platforms including ladders.
• Candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Candidate must be able to use hand and power tools including the proficient use of torches and refrigeration gauges.
• Candidate must be able to operate a single person/scissor lift.
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain any required certifications.
• A physical job that requires the individual to use ladders and to be able to lift stand and walk etc. for extended periods of time. Utilize proper personal protective equipment in the performance of duties.Job Code/Title

Job Description
Perform all facility HVAC operations and support functions including, brazing/soldering, electronic and pneumatic control calibration, control wiring installation, and preventative/predictive maintenance.
Maintain accurate computerized documentation and data collection equipment.
Operate and maintain the building energy management systems and related equipment as required.
Clean, maintain and troubleshoot large capacity building HVAC systems including roof top equipment, air handlers, exhaust fans, fan coil units, and DX coil units, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and other HVAC related equipment.
Be proficient in the assembly, fabrication, and insulation of duct work. Experience in working on and operating steam/hydronic boilers.
Please note:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.Desired skills
• 2 Year HVAC Trade School or equivalent Certification.
• High School degree or equivalency.
• Experience operating and programming a Building Management System.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Equipment LOTO education.
• Steam Boiler Operation & Maintenance.
• Environmental Chamber Operation & Maintenance.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

The base range for this position in New York is $35.86 - $38.88.
