Provide Facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives.
Review and approve all P and IDs, or other life safety systems designs supporting the facility, effective collaboration with Project Managers and Project Engineers, architects, engineers and contractors on new construction/renovation projects.
Review life safety systems design specifications, submittals, studies and drawings
Help maintain the facilities document control system by ensuring life safety system as-built drawings are incorporated into the master CAD drawings.
Help maintain and organize the document control storage area for fast retrieval of information (drawings, specifications, manuals, etc.). Work closely with Project Engineers, contractors and engineers on project design and close out documentation.
Ensure Life Safety Systems are Ops ready and integrated to operation per project schedule.
Ensure Fire/Evacuation, Early Warning Smoke Detection, Liquid Leak Detection, Tool Annunciation System (TAS), and Hazardous Production Material (HPM) alarm systems and detection equipment are Ops Ready and integrated to operation per project schedule.
Accountable for PLC programming and troubleshooting for the HPM and TAS system and associated I/O point management, implementing, tracking, and managing continuous improvement projects.
Transition new systems/equipment to sustaining Support the planning and execution of system shakedowns.
Comprehend the criticality of system reliability, availability, and outages while correctly managing the associated risks.
Sustain and continuously improving existing systems.
Support of simultaneous multiple projects, task forces, cross-site/cross-discipline teams, and incident resolution.
Design, install, manage, and maintain equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. Life Safety Systems operations and maintenance.
Managing system capacity, reliability and uptime as well as all documentation required to safely operate our LSS system.
Act as one of Intel's System Owners of the Ohio site's LSS systems.
Participate in cross site teams.
Some travel and rotational on call weekend engineering support will also be required.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or System and Controls, or Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science, or other equivalent engineering degree with 6+ years of experience.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or System and Controls, or Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science, or other equivalent engineering degree with 4+ years of experience.
Relevant building code or a regulatory requirement such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and troubleshooting skills.
Functional Acceptance Testing and/or Commissioning
Skills to work on diverse tasks in a highly dynamic environment
Project planning coordination and integration.
Statistical Process Control, FMEA, JMP, Cimplicity, Maximo
Focus on industrial, semiconductor, or cleanroom projects
Knowledge of various troubleshooting techniques and the ability to apply them
Scripting, high level computer languages, servers, operating systems, databases, and networking.

The CS Facilities Life Safety Systems Engineering SPOC (Single Point of Contact) is the primary owner responsible for implementing process transfer, system commissioning and integration safely, and on time per schedule for the Facilities Life Safety Systems. Included in their scope is HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) System Ownership and are responsible for the compliance of design with Intel POR and Copy Exactly methodology. They work with the Area Managers and Project Engineers to ensure design includes critical system and operational requirements through collaboration via field walks, working groups and Issued-for-Construction (IFC) design signoffs. The HVM System Owners are responsible for including commissioning-enabling scopes into the system design before the design drawings are issued for construction; by doing so, they ensure commissioning efforts, the operation, and the maintenance of the systems will satisfy all expectations.

Final location for this role will be the Ohio site, with an interim location identified and negotiated with an offer, until the Ohio office premises are available. Based on the current project schedule, the official start date for this position is Q1'2025.
