- Maintains facilities, grounds and equipment to provide a clean, attractive, orderly and safe parking environment on campus.
- Performs daily upkeep and scheduled preventive maintenance of parking facilities and equipment in order to deliver consistent, reliable and excellent services to PTS customers.
- Performs short-notice and/or nonstandard work activities.
- Routinely operates power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance activities.
- Provides timely and accurate reports, including supporting documentation of status of parking facilities and equipment.
- Supervises student workers.
- Outdoor Environment: Employees work outdoors and may not be protected from weather conditions.
- Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, or exposure to chemicals in work setting.
- Oils: There is air or skin exposure to oils or other cutting fluids.
- Will experience temperatures above 100 degrees for more than an hour.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
- Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy .

Facilities Management and Services Worker II Posting Number req17165 Department Parking and Transportation Department Website Link https://parking.arizona.edu/ Location Main Campus Address Tucson, AZ USA Position Highlights Parking and Transportation Services(PTS) is looking for a Facilities Management and Services Worker II. This position will provide general cleaning, preventive maintenance and repair of parking facilities and grounds for the Field Operations Team. Primary function is to assist the Repair Engineers and the Director of Operations with general preventive and scheduled maintenance using a variety of equipment to maintain all parking facilities in an operational, clean, attractive, orderly, safe and healthy condition. An ideal candidate will provide customer service excellence to the University of Arizona community. This position also assists in submitting reports and maintaining accurate on-hand levels of supplies, materials, decals, and signs for parking facilities and grounds.
The days and hours for this role are from Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. This position may be subject to weekend shifts.
