What the job involves:

We are currently seeking an Intern in Facilities Management join our team. As an intern at JLL, you would work as part of our Facilities team at a client site, getting involved in providing service to customers, and designing how we can improve that service with new ideas, tools or processes.

As an Intern in Facilities Management at JLL, you will:

• Assist with creating documents for email distribution and general building communications
• Documenting and creating efficiencies amongst different critical building programs
• Updating presentations and documents to improve visibility and understanding of current deliverables to the Client
• Support the operationalization of building assets by field verifying, recording, and updating within our Centralized Computer Management system, Corrigo
• Assist with facility condition assessment, maintenance job plans, OCP support, Health Safety, and facilities administration.
• Coordinate and develop skills in vendor management, work order management, and client relationship management.
• Learn to review invoices and support reviewing a ~$35MM yearly building operating budget to identify trends & write variance commentary

Education, Skills, and Experience

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in any field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think and work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadlines
• Desire to learn more about our industry
• Interest in property management
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative
• The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
