      Overview

      Why We Need Your Talents:

      Facilities mechanics are responsible for keeping the grounds maintained with a clean, neat, and orderly appearance. Grounds to include parking structure/lots/garage, valet drop off/pickup and all other outside areas within the scope, control and responsibility of Live! Casino & Hotel.

      Responsibilities

      Where You'll Make an Impact:

      • Responsible for cutting, weeding, and edging the grass, raking the leaves, and sweeping the parking lots, and garage.
      • Responsible for planting, removing, and relocating plants, flowers, trees, and bushes.
      • Removing all trash and debris from parking lot areas and grounds. Emptying trash containers.
      • Operate and maintain equipment such as trucks, utility vehicles, pavement sweepers and scrubbers, pressure washers, litter vacuums, etc.
      • Responsible for ensuring all signs, posts, and chain fences are straight and secure.
      • Responsible to ensure all outside areas are clean, orderly, safe, and are at the highest level of maintenance at all times.
      • Must be available for weather events such as snow removal or other storms.
      • May be called upon and assigned from time to time to assist with internal logistics and maintenance.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      • High aptitude for learning.

      Qualifications

      Must-Haves:

      • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
      • Zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience with grounds keeping and or outdoor maintenance of a commercial property/facility.
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as determined by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Lift and or push up to 80 lbs.
      • Standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
      • Work in small, confined areas.
      • Frequent bending at the waist.
      • Use of stairs and elevators
