Job Description Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is currently seeking an accomplished Facilities, Planner and Scheduler to join the team. Here is an overview of the role: 1) Ensure that proven maintenance planning and scheduling methods and techniques are used to maximize system availability, throughput, quality, safety, and environmental performance by reducing equipment times to repair 2) Plan, schedule and procure materials for maintenance work performed in the area of responsibility while maintaining the departmental budget 3) Facilitate the development of the weekly maintenance schedule in conjunction with appropriate maintenance, operations, and engineering personnel 4) Responsible for consistency of format for all job plans 5) Ensure correct parts and consumables are procured for job plans 6) Work with MRO stores, Engineer and Management to ensure that spare parts are stocked at appropriate levels 7) Develop job plans with manpower scheduling, parts verification, and parts kitting as per company standards for outages/Turnarounds, equipment modifications, standard work, and PMs and condition monitoring inspections 8) Develop and maintain master data along with weekly schedules for company assets and work to be completed respectively 9) Be responsible for the generation and closure of change controls required for the Computerized Maintenance Management System 10) Manage the notification life cycle of work while providing required reports 11) Use feedback to update standard work, monitor job completion, and ensure correct closing codes are applied to completed work orders 12) Be responsible for managing CMMS for Facilities Building Maintenance, Metrology/Calibration, Maintenance and Engineering 13) Act as the principal contact and liaison person between Maintenance, Manufacturing and other supported departments 14) Ensure all internal beneficiaries of maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service and take a continuing interest in internal needs with keen awareness of the situation 15) Communicate and schedule vendors for vendor-managed PMs with the support of the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager to assign a maintenance technician and Operator to escort vendors and process work orders 16) Provide data and metrics from CMMS on maintenance performance 17) Develop custom and routine graphs and written reports in CMMS by creating and saving defined queries 18) Responsible for ensuring all work orders, forms and other documentation related to facilities and engineering comply with Good Documentation Practices for FDA Standards and other regulatory agencies 19) Ensure compliance in our CMMS for audit purposes through data fields and accuracy of data entry by confirming that Facilities change controls and Quality Assurance change controls are in place for changes and entries that are not specified in an SOP 20) Ensure forms that require data from our CMMS print directly into the forms and comply with regulatory standards 21) Manage forms for facilities and engineering for updates and reconciliation Critical Requirements 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field 2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please) 3) Recent experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred 4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance This role is a great opportunity for the right person looking to advance their career with a wonderful company.
