What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate with proponent groups and building committees for facility planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Prepare requests for proposals and facilitate the hiring of architectural and construction management services
- Manage facility capitalized expenditure budgets and projects, tracking variances and ensuring smooth recovery processes
- Monitor and report on all phases of planning and construction to meet specified objectives
- Maintain high client, customer, and user satisfaction with services provided
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of Facilities or Construction Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of practical experience in a relevant field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of construction or commercial real estate industry
- Proficient in using common business applications (Microsoft/Google G-Suite, Corrigo CMMS)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Experience in facilities, real estate support, or project management
- PMP/CPAM or other recognized credentialing
- Professional designations through facilities organizations (BOMI, IFMA)
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, NFPA, ANSI, and ADA standards
