What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate with proponent groups and building committees for facility planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Prepare requests for proposals and conduct meetings to hire architectural and construction management services
- Manage facility capital expenditure budgets and projects, tracking variances and ensuring alignment with client goals
- Ensure adherence to contract requirements and business management standards across the organization
- Monitor and report on all phases of planning and construction to meet project objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of facilities or construction experience
- Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in facilities, real estate support, or project management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple needs
- Knowledge of construction or commercial real estate industry standards
- Proficient in using common business applications such as Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- PMP/CPAM or other recognized credentialing
- Professional designations through facilities organizations (BOMI, IFMA) preferred
- Experience managing multiple work-streams in a multi-cultural environment
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, NFPA, ANSI, and ADA standards
