Daily inspects building HVAC software for problems and reviews all other Facility Requests and Maintenance/Security logs. Immediately addresses any emergency issues. Meets with Office Services Manager daily to prioritize all other tasks, requests and projects.
Coordinates and/or performs internal and external maintenance and repair duties for all assigned Club properties, including those involving electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating and cooling, structural, grounds care and other preventative maintenance as needed.
Works with external vendors to coordinate housekeeping, security, landscaping, extermination, HVAC, floor mats and other building services. Promptly notifies the appropriate vendor of any problem issues and brings all situations to a suitable resolution. Appropriately orders required supplies in support of external vendors.
Routinely visits assigned branch office locations to evaluate the condition of significant items such as HVAC units, parking lots, roof, interior/exterior paint, carpeting, flooring and office furniture. Documents all information by branch locations and makes appropriate recommendations for repair or replacement of these components.
Maintains a current knowledge of all maintenance and safety requirements, including OSHA regulations. Ensures appropriate safety regulations are followed and maintained throughout all assigned club properties.
As needed, also performs warehouse shipping/receiving, mail sorting and delivery, issuance of employee security badges, maintenance of building key control, employee security level maintenance, Club vehicle maintenance and purchases, warehouse inventory, loading dock and warehouse clean up, snow plowing and salting, etc. as needed.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Additional training in at least one or more mechanical related fields (e.g., Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, etc.) desired.
Ability to personally make repairs to various electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or general repairs at club properties as required.
PC literacy including experience with word processing and spreadsheet software required.
Must be familiar with warehouse equipment, including tow motors, electronic pallet jacks and electric over hydraulic man lifts.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, floor plans and other Facility systems plans and renderings preferred
Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire.

Facilities TechnicianAAA East Central has an opening for a Facilities Technician based out of our Pittsburgh office. The Facilities Technician will strive for facilities excellence and have a great eye for detail. They are critical to support the care for our Facilities. They are knowledgeable about general building and grounds maintenance as well as general construction, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry for our local offices within PA and West Virginia.
This position is Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm with availability to work overtime, if needed.
