Job Description

- Perform duties as required by the City of New York as Deputy Fire Safety Director and Emergency Action Plan leader for NY midtown building.
- Answer route incoming phone calls for NY midtown building.
- Greet and direct customers from the NY midtown building front desk to right department.
- Sort the inter-office mail and UPS packages for both sending and receiving.
- Assist with after hour repairs or maintenance projects in the assigned location.
- Update requests status and input information into the tracking system daily.
- Coordinates/schedules the facility maintenance services/inspections for bank owned building and branches.
- Completes/updates data entry of services, vendors, and paperwork into tracking system and prepares monthly reports.
- In charge of branches Monthly Facilities Certification.
- Reviews each certification before filing.
- Takes care of/resolves the facility issues described on the certification.
- Organizes/files the monthly certification properly in the shared drive folder.
- Responds to/resolves some minor maintenance issues and performs cleaning duties in NY Midtown building if reported by employees during business hours. Keeps the facilities in an orderly condition creating a safe, secured, and clean environment for the employees of the Bank and an inviting building for its clients. Such duties include but are not limited to: Roll down and up the floor maps, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, dust mopping and wet mopping floors, furniture dusting, cleaning, removing trash, and replenishing restrooms supplies (cannot solely rely on cleaning crew or 3rd party maintenance staff).
- Assist facility officer in resolving branches’ facility/security issues and interact with vendors to carry out projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2-years of experience in commercial building maintenance and operation.
- Must pass the NY Fire Safety Director Certification Test in which requests by this position to comply with NYC high risk building laws.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate- be able to perform data entry and run reports.
- Be able to lift items (minimum 30 pounds) on occasion. Use available elevator, dolly, or cart when necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, proficient knowledge of standard office equipments, PCs and good verbal & written communication skills.
