      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process initial applications and reappointments for hospitals, surgical centers, and managed care entities for assigned divisions
      - Maintain complete files of provider licensure and credentials, monitoring renewals and forwarding copies to facilities
      - Update and maintain credentialing database, including demographic and licensure information
      - Track continuing medical education/ACLS credits and other training requirements
      - Manage correspondence files and credentialing archival files

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or equivalent; A.S. or B.S. degree in business administration or healthcare-related field preferred
      - Minimum of five years of experience in credentialing
      - Knowledge of organization’s policies, procedures, and systems
      - Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, and database administration
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CPMSC/CPCS Certification preferred
      - Knowledge of NCQA and/or JCAHO Accreditation standards
      - Familiarity with federal and state regulations on confidentiality and peer review guidelines
