  Responsibilities Include:
  

  • Orient youth to site resources, develop and implement positive enrichment activities to enhance life skills, oversee community service projects and event planning, and maintain daily operation of the site.
  • Assist youth in acquiring healthy social skills and independent living skills to reduce recidivism and promote success, safety, and permanence in the home, school, workforce, and community.
  • Supervise staff stationed at the Guidance Center and outside partner providers who provide services through the facility.
  • On-site position with eligibility for a 4/10 schedule after a 90-day training period.

  Requirements Include:
  

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of related experience working with people in a human service or criminal justice system setting.
  • Knowledge of at-risk youth population.
  • Ability to work with a diverse multicultural/ethnic population with sensitivity and respect.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  Waymakers is a Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualified employer.
  
  Starting pay range: $5,723 - $6,010 monthly.
