      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage and coordinate the Facility Transition Project for the Nuclear Waste Program
      - Lead a diverse team in making scientifically sound decisions for permitting and cleanup
      - Collaborate on policy development and participate in dispute resolution and negotiations
      - Represent the agency to local governments, private industry, and external groups
      - Develop professional networks and keep current with industry developments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Eleven (11) years of experience in environmental, physical, or natural sciences; engineering; environmental regulation; or related fields
      - Education in a major study related to environmental or natural sciences, engineering, or environmental regulation
      - Knowledge of environmental management principles and pollution control methods
      - Ability to provide technical direction and develop guidelines for complex projects
      - Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in project management, agency contracting procedures, and state/federal environmental regulations
      - HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
