      The Communication department at Utah Valley University is seeking a Non Tenure Track Lecturer to teach public speaking, introduction to communication, and interpersonal communication. This is a non-renewable position to begin July 1 and ends June 30th 2025.



      This is a teaching position of a 5/5/ load with no expectations of research/scholarship or service. 100% of the applicant’s duties will consist of teaching in the classroom, meeting with students, syllabus and course content creation, and assessment of student performance. Graduation from a accredited institution with an M.A. or M.S. in a communication-specific field. Knowledge and skill in current instructional theories, strategies, techniques, and discipline content. Must be willing to teach all modalities (in-person, online, hybrid, weekend).

      Preferred Qualifications:
      Evidence of online course design and teaching. Ability to articulate a diverse/multicultural approach to teaching preferred. Experience in digital journalism, social media analytics, and content creation are preferred.
