      Purpose Statement: Provide initial assessment of root cause failure analysis of electronic components and related devices on a physical (not electronic) level.

      Key Job Accountabilities:

      • Perform sample preparation and initial assessment of defective, electronic, electrical and mechanical parts.
      • Write reports to summarize findings using Microsoft Word or Excel and convert to PDF as is required.
      • Establish standard assessment practices and create documentation.
      • Maintain laboratory and related equipment.
      • Route issues for further analysis to FA Lead Engineer.

      Additional Accountabilities:

      • Assist in the assessment and management of third party laboratory services.
      • Support on generation of FA reports
      • Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business
      • Additional duties as assigned by management.

      Education/Experience Qualifications:

      • A minimum of a Technical degree is required; a(n) Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technologies or similar Engineering is preferred.
      • 4-5+ years of related experience is required; 4-5+ years of industry experience is preferred.

      An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

      Other Qualifications:

      • Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
      • Advanced English
      • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
      • Assertive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment; leadership
      • Medium working knowledge of MS Office applications as Word & Excel; and Bone pile

      Physical Requirements:

      • General office & Test equipment’s and materials
      • Physical strength testing equipment.

      Work Environment:

      • The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
