      Job Description

      MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Shift Differentials available for both shifts.

      • B Shift: Monday - Thursday 1700 - 0500
      • C Shift: Friday - Sunday 0500 - 01700

      This position will utilize test data to determine root cause of product failure on a given assembly line. Once root cause is established, proper rework actions will be executed based on failure mode. This position is also responsible for working with engineering and reporting results for assembly line failures.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Analysis of data generated from test field equipment.
      • Proper corrective action for each failure mode.
      • Tracks reject trends and scrap information.
      • Work with engineering to report new failure modes or excessive failures.
      • Work with Team Lead to ensure proper adjustments are made to correct failures.
      • Ensure overall quality of product is maintained and working with quality to escalate issues found.
      • Tear-down process and identify components to be scrapped vs. reused.
      • Proper handling and disposal of scrap components.
      • Ensure rework identification standards are followed.
      • Ensure rework areas are kept clean and organized (5s)
      • Wear required PPE
      • Support and comply with all company policies and procedures.
      • Work with engineering and quality to develop and improve rework processes as needed.
      • Work with support departments to investigate issues and actions.
      • Perform required documentation for area. TPM, control plan, 5s

      Qualifications

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

      • One to Three years related experience and or training. Will consider three to Five years experience in manufacturing/assembly operations for entry level candidates.
      • Experience should be gained in areas of technical operations and should include a minimum of one year in specific technology for experienced candidates.
      • Technician should posses an advanced understanding of EPS gears.
