- Assists the DRE in planning and implementing parish catechetical programs in accordance with diocesan guidelines, scheduling classes, events, and catechist meetings.
- Helps to recruit, train, and supports volunteer catechists for various faith formation ministries, including adult and youth catechesis, assessments, and sacramental preparation.
- Coordinates and helps with day-to-day demands of the Religious Education office.
- Supports in building a dynamic Young Adult Ministry, with a focus on community, faith enrichment, and marriage preparation in collaboration.
- Assists and provides hands-on support for Family Faith Formation, and Adult Catechesis sessions as needed.
- Provides support in room reservations, registration forms, preparation and celebration of sacramental events such as First Communion, Confirmation, retreats, and catechist formation events and meetings.
- Maintains accurate and timely announcements to ensure clear communication.
- Assists with ordering, organizing, and distributing catechetical materials and resources.
- Supports the administrative and ministerial needs of the DRE.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the DRE.
- Receives direct supervision from the Director of Religious Education.
- Works collaboratively with the Faith Formation Administrative Assistant, parish staff, volunteers, families, and diocesan personnel.
- Must communicate timely and effectively with DRE, staff and parishioners in a professional and pastoral manner.

- Position involves standard office work as well as parish event coordination, including evening and weekend hours.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks under time constraints and maintain a high level of organization.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Teams, especially Excel, Word, and parish database platforms.
- Capable of using online form builders and other administrative tools.
- Occasional lifting of supplies and setting up for events may be required.
- Occasional travel, by car, may be required within the Diocese of Fort Worth for training, meetings or events.
- Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of three years of catechetical experience or equivalent office work.
- Diocesan Catechist Certification or willingness to obtain it is strongly preferred.
- Ability to compose correspondence and announcements. Excellent grammar in English.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and organize work effectively.
- Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
- Knowledge of Catholic doctrine, sacramental theology, and liturgical practice.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to honor confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Familiarity with catechetical methods, family-based catechesis, and evangelization strategies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity and experience with computers, computer programs, and office equipment.
- Comfortable and confident in learning new computer programs and systems.
- Strong communication skills.

General Position Summary:
The Faith Formation Coordinator supports the Director of Religious Education (DRE) in the comprehensive catechetical mission of the parish with a servant’s heart. The coordinator is a reliable, diligent, responsible, and trustworthy individual who values organization. This role focuses on assisting, organizing, and supporting the implementation of programs for Adult Catechesis, Youth Ministry, VBS, OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults), OCIA Adapted for Children and Adolescents, Sacramental Preparation, Infant Baptism, and Family Faith Formation. The coordinator must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, able to adapt to the diverse and fluctuating needs of the Religious Education Office
