What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the development of the Ansys Sherlock desktop application
- Use Java and C++ to implement new features and functionalities
- Work on reliability physics-based electronics design and provide life predictions for electronic hardware
- Collaborate with different teams and industries to solve real-world problems
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the software through testing and validation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled in a four-year, accredited university
- Studying Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Committed to work for the duration of the internship (continuous 3 months)
- Previous internship experience highly preferred
- Development experience preferred
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- US Citizenship required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of development experience in a software-related role
- Familiarity with reliability physics-based design tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
