      Hybrid Working

      Structured hybrid role:
      At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.


      Introduction:

      ï‚§ To manage the functions of the unit as per specified service level agreements and to ensure optimal distribution of workload in order to achieve objectives for the unit
      ï‚§ To work in a team environment for processing various transactions based on instructions within agreed timelines with accuracy to consistently provide a high-level customer service


      What will you be doing?

      ï‚§ Establish the most effective and efficient solutions to complex transactions referred by Level ½ Advisors
      ï‚§ Accountable for understanding of technical changes and their implications for the customer experience
      ï‚§ Accountable for identifying, analysing and resolving/implementing processing issues to prevent re-occurrence, reducing loss to the business.
      ï‚§ Experience in Sanction and payment screening
      ï‚§ Good knowledge in Swift transaction
      ï‚§ Experience in Pep/Sanction and Adverse press checks
      ï‚§ Good knowledge in completing allocated task within stipulated time and work cooperatively with team members.
      ï‚§ Responsible for driving own performance management, collating relevant documentation, preparing for and arranging self-performance reviews
      ï‚§ Work with Team Manager and take joint responsibility for the control the workflow to ensure process efficiencies are achieved, team performance is optimised, Service Level Agreement are met by ensuring productivity and accuracy measures are in place
      ï‚§ To provide support and cover in terms of process management to SME’s as required ensuring effective team work across the operation
      ï‚§ Responsible for verification and authorisation of entries within signatory limits and non-conformant items/referrals which may be staff prompted or system generated
      ï‚§ Accountable for ensuring self-understanding and adherence to procedures and quality controls and checks are completed as required

      What we’re looking for:

      o Graduate in any discipline
      o Effective communication, including questioning skills
      o Excellent organisational and planning skills
      o Ability to work independently or as part of a team
      o Willing to work on rotational shift and Night shift basis on business needs.
      o Willing to take challenging environment and work collaboratively with team.
      o Achieving high standards and delivering results with accuracy and attention to detail
      o MS Office Applications proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
      o Ability to comprehend given set of instructions and apply the same for day to day transaction processing

      Skills that will help you in the role:
      o Experience of working in BPO/KPO, experience in AML/KYC/SANCTIONS/CDD/EDD.
      o Experience in Payment screening/Sanction screening and Swift related transation.
      o Familiarity with procedures, policies, products and services of a financial organisation
      o Ability to work within deadlines/customer demand
