      As a Warehouse Worker at the Express, you are responsible for quickly handling product to ensure the accurate processing of merchandise. You will receive and inspect items for any quality assurance issues. Attention to detail and keeping clean and organized is a must. You also might assist with efficiently unloading, moving and stocking merchandise, which ranges across a wide variety of items across all departments. You are on the front lines of ensuring our customers have an extraordinary shopping experience – without you, there would be nothing on the shelves!

      So what can you expect as a Warehouse Worker at the Exchange?

      • Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures
      • Deliver extraordinary customer experience by engaging customers and prioritizing customer needs over tasks
      • Unload, break-out and stock merchandise with efficiency and accuracy
      • Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer
      • Able to use computer software to receive a variety of items, to include firearms and other critical merchandise.
      Job Qualifications
      • Able to lift up to and occasionally over 40 pounds
      • 6 months experience involving records maintenance, receiving, screening, reviewing, and verifying documents.
      • Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs
      • Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions
      • Able to take initiative
      • Able to share brand knowledge

      • Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed
      • Flexible Morning Availability required from 0530-1300 preferred. Mon-Fri occasional weekends.

      Job Qualifications

      Education: High school or equivalent. Experience: Six months progressively responsible general work, plus six months warehousing work or closely related work. Must possess the ability, knowledge and skill to operate/use the appropriate systems/software/hardware. May be required to possess a valid drivers license.

      EXPRESS/GAS STATION. WILL BE SCHEDULED 20-34 HOURS. MUST BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A NATIONAL AGENCY CHECK AND FINGERPRINTING. THIS POSITION OFFERS BENEFITS.

      Major Duties

      Ensures the proper receipt, verification and documentation of merchandise/supplies. As required, posts sell prices on documents. Records discrepancies or damaged shipments, initiates appropriate corrective action and completes necessary documentation.
      Signs receiving reports and other accountable documents and processes receipt through appropriate systems using a VDT/PC or other equipment.
      Processes damaged/defective merchandise returned for repair or replacement. Maintains records and takes follow-up action, as necessary.
      Completes various merchandising documents and reports, as required, either manually or by appropriate systems using VDT/PC or other equipment.
      As necessary, assembles and segregates merchandise (bicycles, grills, etc.) for delivery and prepares appropriate documentation.
      Assists in taking stock counts and official inventories.
      As required, may operate motor vehicles not to exceed 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. May operate forklift not to exceed 10,000 pounds lifting capacity.
      Maintains compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security requirements within stockroom area. Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty. Performs other related duties as assigned.
