Job Description

Planning, commissioning and editing features across print and digital, including well stories and front and back of book pieces
Leading the ideation and execution of global tentpole moments, including Hot List and Gold List
Innovate and think entrepreneurially about new opportunities in the UK market and lead on new concepts and commercial partnerships
Working closely and collaboratively on digital content for the UK and other markets and ideate across social, video and other platforms when planning stories
Working on sponsored editorial content, as required
Representing the brand externally at conferences, on panels, events, etc, as required
Managing the UK features team
A proven Editor, you will have strong, full-time experience in commissioning and editing well/long form features
An extensive knowledge of the travel industry and the PR teams who work within it are a must
You will have a global address book of on-brand writers and stringers
Exceptional organisational and time management skills and the ability to think and work quickly
You will have good communication skills and an openness to working collaboratively and globally

The Role
The Features Director will work closely with the Global Editorial Director to plan, commission and edit features as well as major packages and front-of-book, service-driven pieces. He/she/they is equally comfortable on print and digital platforms, and thinking from a global as well as a UK perspective. Strong editing and writing skills, and a good knowledge of the travel industry are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with a network of editors, writers and correspondents across the world. This role reports into the UK-based Global Editorial Director.
