- Be present in the pantry to assist patrons and direct volunteers
- Maintain pantry cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
- Direct volunteers to organize, repackage, and restock items correctly and efficiently
- Complete donation pickups from partner sites with one other team member
- Hold volunteers accountable to the standards set by the Feed the Pack Leadership Team
- Perform all necessary pantry operations if no volunteers are present
Feed the Pack Food Pantry is NC State’s on-campus food pantry that meets the food needs of university students, staff, and faculty with dignity and respect. Feed the Pack has been serving the NC State community since 2012. It is located in North Residence Hall on 2200 Hillsborough Street, where all Pantry Shift Leader shifts will take place. Primary Purpose of Position:Feed the Pack is seeking dedicated and reliable NC State students to be Pantry Shift Leaders. Pantry Shift Leaders are responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the pantry during shifts when the pantry is open, restocking shifts, and donation pickup shifts. Shift Leaders will be scheduled for 7-12 hours per week during Feed the Pack operating hours throughout the Fall 2023 semester.About the company
