What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead large, complex resilience programs in coordination with FEMA and other federal agencies
- Manage project plans, budgets, teams, and resources
- Serve as the direct interface with federal client agency and senior program staff
- Oversee technical experts and communication experts on disaster recovery programs
- Coordinate with Task Leads to ensure project teams' activities are aligned with best practices

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in emergency management, planning, or related field; master's degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 10+ years of experience with FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance programs
- 10+ years of project management experience, including managing large projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated capability in managing contracts of $100M+
- Experience in resilience and mitigation planning
- Ability to provide a strategic perspective on projects related to public policy and emergency management
- Knowledge of federal and state disaster management and resilience programs
- Team and consensus-building skills
