- Req#: 154060
- Direct care to a full range of patients experiencing urogynecologic complaints, including but not limited to urinary incontinence and prolapse
- Work in outpatient setting, preparing patients for surgery and operations
- Open laparoscopic, vaginal and robotic surgery and provide in house coverage for seeing those patients
- Responsible for postoperative care and all outpatient follow up
- Supervision and teaching to residents and medical students
- Opportunity to train residents from Urology program
- Participate in OBGYN and Kings County Hospital Performance and Safety Improvement activities
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board Certified or Eligible in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
- Experience in minimally invasive surgery, including robotics
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $67,600***.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County is seeking to expand current Urogynecology services with the addition of a full-time Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon/Urogynecologist Attending. With two da Vinci Xi platforms, protected OR time, and Urodynamics equipment, Kings County Hospital is primed to expand clinical services in this area. Kings County Hospital serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and trains their medical students and OBGYN residents.

Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $309,000* (board eligible) and $319,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $407,500** (board eligible) and $418,500** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
