Knowledge of production KPIs and the ability to communicate the KPIs to production staff.
Able to interact well with all levels of the organization.
Evaluate and provide timely feedback on employee performance.
Motivate and develop a cohesive production team.
Communicate and enforce company policies for safety, quality, and the environment.
Maintain production and attendance records
Ability to achieve goals and drive results.
Shift Supervision coverage for other departments on same schedule.
Ability to make timely decisions to maintain production output and be able to quickly analyze situations and provide direction to production staff.
Recommend and implement process improvements to maximize productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, reduce costs and provide a safe work environment.
Reports to: Plant / Production Manager
Direct Reports: Shift Leads, Direct Production Staff
Quality
HSE
Engineering
Warehouse
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline, minimum
5 + years of production experience
Excellent communication skills with very strong interpersonal abilities.
Strong leadership skills.
SAP experience preferred.
Lean Manufacturing (or similar process) skills required with proven ability to lead and drive this type of program in a manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to coach employee’s and manage employee conflicts. Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and able to put ideas into tangible form
Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication and report writing skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to prioritize & manage multiple responsibilities to critical project disciplined collaboration
Excellence in Execution
