      Fiber Designer – 100% Remote Opportunity

      **This is a 100% remote position, requiring designers to have their own computer/equipment to remote into software/system.**

      • This is a contract position, duration is 18 months - 3 years.

      Are you passionate about designing the future of broadband? Join us in expanding high-speed internet access to rural communities through the Enhanced Alternative Connect America Cost Model (E-ACAM) program—a multi-year initiative driving digital equity across the country.

      We’re looking for a Fiber Designer to help shape the next generation of fiber networks. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects across multiple states.


      What You’ll Do

      • Design Outside Plant (OSP) fiber projects across diverse geographies.
      • Build GIS-based fiber network maps and collaborate with OSP engineering teams.
      • Estimate project costs including labor, materials, and overhead.
      • Analyze and refine fiber designs using GIS tools and extensions.

      What You Bring

      • 2–5+ years of experience in telecommunications or related fields.
      • Strong proficiency in ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro.
      • Familiarity with NESC construction practices and telecom engineering standards.
      • Ability to read and assess fiber and/or HFC designs and prints.
      • Excellent communication, leadership, and multitasking skills.

      Bonus Skills

      • Advanced GIS/ArcGIS experience.
      • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse teams.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
