Job Description
- Req#: 5240
- Saw, grind, drill, or shape fiberglass laminates.
- Place finish coats of resins or gel coats on laminates, make repairs to small holes or chips and report any instance of less than a top-quality product.
- Place screening, gaskets, or special items on laminates by gluing, laminating, or bolting.
- Transport finished laminates to the storage area.
- Perform daily clean-up and residue disposal.
- Assist in loading of laminates for shipment.
- Assist in storage of stock material.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools.
- Assist in laminate or precast concrete production during work overload or emergency situations.
- Assist in repair of existing molds and fabrication of new molds.
- Advise the finish and precast Foreman of fire, safety, or work hazards.
- Assist the building of protective boxes, crates, or pallets for fiberglass and precast items.
- Saw, drill, grind, or shape stock material as needed to support field installation.
- Assist in field installation, repair or maintenance as required.
- Observe and maintain all fire and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose:
Final finish and assemble fiberglass reinforced plastic accessories for use in prestressed concrete tanks.

Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
No experience necessary.
Other requirements:
Valid Florida Driver's License.
Ability to drive a forklift.
Working Conditions:
Works indoors 50% and Outdoors 50% of time.
Exposed to hazardous materials.
Exposed to frequent loud noises.
Exposed to dangerous machinery.
Generally works five 8-hour days, although overtime may occur.
