Then Bio-Rad's Field Application Specialist role could be your next challenge!

  As a Field Application Specialist you will work as part of a high-functioning team including Account Managers and Product Managers. The position is field based and includes travel with overnight stay, therefore a location close to an international airport within the territory is key.

  How You will make an impact:

  • Main responsibility is to ensure short term as well as long term successful sales result within your application area (qPCR, ddPCR) by collaborating with the Sales Team on sales projects.
  • Apply your scientific expertise in field sales activities to generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars and training sessions.
  • Provide field application support for customers utilizing available installed instruments in collaboration with Technical Support, Service and the Sales Team.
  • Work strategically to secure success by driving internal strategical conversations and build relationship with Key Opinion Leaders, Key Decision Makers at strategically important accounts.
  • Keep yourself and the Sales Team updated on product and applications, in the area of your responsibility, including internal training of Sales Team and keep a basic knowledge about the full product portfolio.

  What You’ll bring:

  • Highly motivated scientific expert in the Genomics field who is interested in achieving and exceeding sales results. Proteomics expertise is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude and collaborating skills to contribute to the team environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills and a strong ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • High level of presentation and communication skills
  • Academic degree (e.g. MSc or PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required.
  • Experience in presenting at seminars, workshops or trainings is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Swedish or Finnish
  • Driver’s License is required
