What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims
- Negotiate settlements, make payments, and document all activities in complex files
- Interpret regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to fair claims practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibit mastery in estimating fundamentals to assess damages across various severities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience as an Auto Adjuster with a strong background in auto damage estimating
- Proficiency with CCC ONE estimating software
- Ability to manage both field and virtual auto claims effectively
- Excellent negotiation and documentation skills
- Must reside in or near the Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Staunton, or Waynesboro area
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a mentoring or training role within the insurance industry
- Knowledge of various policy types written by the employer
- Experience building relationships with diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and claims best practices
- Strong analytical skills related to estimating damage losses
