      THE JOB LOCATION FOR THIS POSTING IS IN THOMAS, BROOKS AND GRADY COUNTIES

      DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      • Evaluate, handle and adjust assigned property or other claims from Members and other Claimants.
      • Assure high customer satisfaction levels through professionalism, integrity, fairness and promptness.
      • Assist Field Claims Supervisor with development of other Claims Reps including workload management and problem solving.
      • Maintain satisfactory levels of productivity / claims handling cycle time.
      • Continue job skill development through training.
      • Responsible for Cycle time, Severity, Quality of claims, Customer Satisfaction level, Professional development of self

      OTHER SKILL/ABILITIES
      The employee must be able to organize and prioritize work; must have knowledge of office administration procedures and able to operate most standard office equipment. The employee must pay attention to detail in composing and proofing materials. Must be self-motivated with initiative and ability to make decisions and accept responsibility. Be flexible to respond to unexpected situations that require immediate attention. A high level of confidentiality is to be maintained by the employee. Other duties as assigned by the Field Claims Supervisor and/or Sr. Manager of Property

      QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
      1. 2+ years of college and 3+ years P&C adjusting experience or
      2. Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years P&C adjusting experience or
      3. 5+ years Property & Casualty adjusting experience with some emphasis on Property adjusting.
      4. Farm Bureau property adjusting experience preferred.
      5. AIC, CPCU or other insurance certification desired.
      6. FCR must maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.

      Language Skills:
      Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required. Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills are required.

      Reasoning Skills:
      Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

      Computer Skills:
      The representative must possess basic skills with personal computer; experience with Windows, word processing, and internet, Xactware products experience, and other documents as required.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to occasionally operate in a normal office environment with occasional travel necessary to visit office locations, conduct investigations, attends conferences/training classes and meetings. Extensive travel by automobile within assigned territory with some periods of normal office environment is required. The employee is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle controls and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, lift and move up to 30 pounds. Ability to maneuver ladders and inspect homes/property as is necessary to properly assess damages. Specific vision requirements by this job include close vision.
