- Strategic Planning: Supported by Account Managers, contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing RSM, NSM (National Sales Manager) and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
- Account planning & customer relationships management: Supports Account Managers in understanding account’s unmet needs and expectations to facilitate account strategy and plans development; establishes relationships with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, Materials Management, Hospital Administration, and Infection Control. Develops and enhances account relationship through product demonstrations, educational programs, product in-services, procedural observation, and problem resolution; identifies, manages and reports to Account Managers / RSM sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; consequently, supports Account Managers and RSM in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided; attends and actively participates in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings.
- Clinical Support: Attend cases face to face/remotely with our customer and advise physicians on clinical attributes / techniques associated with our products. Responds to complex customer needs regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions
- Tender / negotiation management: based on clinical support, supports Account Managers in gathering information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities.
- Deal design & pricing: executes Sales Cloud tasks assigned by the Account Managers representing agreed strategy and tactics, attends and participates in periodic meetings to update on status.
- Post-sale management and future growth: develops and implements a proactive plan that involves service support, with Regional Sales Manager and team members, to increase the quality of service to customers; performs procedural training, provides clinical support and therapy development and consequently manages clinical evaluation, with Account Managers support, to deliver excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations and ultimately secure BSC market share.
- Nurse or Biomedical Engineering degree;
- Medical device experience within radiologist, hepatologist, nuclear medicine (desired)
- Experience in an operating room, in field-related roles (at least 1 year, as Field Clinical Specialist or Account Manager) is preferable;
- Native/bilingual Spanish and good English level;
- Availability to travel for business;
- Ability to work within a flexible and dynamic working environment;
- Based in the areas of Madrid or Barcelona preferably.

We are looking for a Field Clinical Specialist position, for junior clinical profiles willing to start a successful career within Boston Scientific.
The ideal profile has a nurse, biomedical engineering, pharmacy degree or similar with experience in an operating room. Upper intermediate level of English is required.
About the role:
The Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) provides clinical support to assigned accounts, jointly with the relevant Account Managers and reporting directly to the Product Manager. The primary role of the FCS is to maintain market share at BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, product evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
