      FLSmidth Cement USA Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer for its office in Allentown, PA to:

      • Perform installation, inspection, testing and start-up services of gas analyzers ,Cemscanner and QCX Lab equipment
      • Conduct customer training sessions
      • Repair and perform maintenance of related systems
      • Provide customer support by phone, email, and remote support work with the sales and engineering departments to specify solutions for new systems and upgrades
      • Review the operation of new and existing installations and provide customers and engineering departments with recommendations for improvements
      • Monitor customers and the general market for new business opportunities and provide leads for the sales department
      • Work with other team members to create continuous improvements of products and services
      • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations
      • Provide training and development support for other engineers in FLSmidth
      • Work with engineering and project management teams with the transition of projects from engineering to commissioning phase
      • Monitor scope of work, and training requirements for specific projects
      • Provide feedback to stakeholders regarding quality issues and offer suggestions for product and process improvements
      • Provide thorough and timely reporting of services and key issues to management and customers.

      The position requires a minimum of a associate degree in Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, and two years’ experience in the job offered or a related occupation, to include: 2 years’ experience working with industrial automation principles and practices; 2 years’ experience performing installation, service, and repair of gas analyzers and/or Quality Lab control systems;

      Incumbent will be required to travel 50% of the time on international and domestic trips lasting 1-6 weeks in duration.
