- Locating properties utilizing maps and legal descriptions, measuring structures, drawing buildings, identifying and listing building characteristics and features.
- Requires extensive walking in diverse weather conditions common of Northeast Florida.
- Employees are required to meet production and quality standards.
- Ability to produce two-dimensional drawings of buildings
- Ability to work without supervision
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Completion of at least one real estate course such as appraising or home inspection or a college degree.
- Experience with construction types and structural elements.
- FL Class E Driver's License is required prior to appointment and must be maintained.
- Must meet standards required to obtain a City of Jacksonville driver's certification.

The Property Appraiser's Office is seeking Field Evaluators to work in their Field Operations Division.
