Learns and provides entry-level support as the primary liaison/customer support representative throughout each customer implementation and Roche solution correlation
Performs individualized assessment of the customer’s personnel, organizational structure, workflow and maximization of equipment capabilities (equipment, applications, systems, and IT solutions) to design and develop tailored training
Trains customers on Roche platforms, processes and expectations, including planning and coordination for implementation
Provides first-level and problem solving of issues that arise for customers during the lifecycle of the solution; uses the consultative performance approach for complex implementations; provides future clinical application support
Acts as an advisor on customer issues; drives efficiencies and optimization for the customer and Roche through independent analysis and problem solving
Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
Identifies opportunities for new system consumables for clients (i.e. reagents, primary antibodies, bio-markers, software)
May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position
Maintains and continuously improves the quality system by achieving quality objectives through daily actions
Associate’s degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Clinical Laboratory Sciences OR other equivalent work experience AND 3 years previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT support in a clinical lab environment.
Reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US with the ability and willingness to travel 95% of the time, including overnight travel
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or other related science degree
Laboratory certifications
Ability and willingness to rapidly gain and apply new knowledge, solutions, and skills, specifically Roche solutions (i.e. chemistry, immunology, molecular, tissue, life science, and IT solutions)
Effective customer communication skills (written and verbal), positive attitude, helpful customer interaction, and fostering of strong internal and external customer relationships
Effective time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to work as a field-based individual contributor with independence and autonomy

This is a field-based remote position.
The Position
The Field Implementation Specialist - is a national position that serves as the primary liaison representative providing post-sales customer support during the installation, implementation, training, and maintenance of clinical chemistry and immunoassay platforms and processes, such as cobas Pro and cobas 8000. As an entry-level specialist, you will be mentored to provide highly visible, self-supervised, self-directed, and extensive onsite advisory customer support. Some job duties may be performed remotely and independently following standard practices and procedures. Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks.This is a field-based, national role. You must currently reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US in the following cities:
This position requires 95% travel to client sites. We are recruiting for more than one position at this time.
