      About the Job

      We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Field Marketing Representative for the Cannabis industry based in the Fresno area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for customers in top dispensaries, building strong relationships with dispensary teams, and executing marketing and sales programs to drive growth across our retailer network. This position will cover the Central Valley and Bakersfield areas, and heavy travel is expected.

      What You Will Do

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with top dispensaries in your assigned region, including entertaining customers and understanding their needs.
      • Execute merchandising, promotional, display, and trade/consumer facing activities in accordance with Connected guidelines
      • Work with the sales and marketing team to design and implement account specific in-store marketing and sales programs to drive growth.
      • Support the Connected sales team in identifying and executing in-store growth opportunities and marketing activations.
      • Maximize in-store visibility through signage, price points, displays, and product features.
      • Measure inventory levels at retail and communicate back to sales
      • Lead best-in-class budtender educations and engagement
      • Support the Connected sales team with dispensary communication and Connected Launch Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
      • Organize and manage the day to day operations related to in-store takeovers, pop-up shops, trade shows and other events to promote our brands and products.
      • Report back to HQ team on market trends, consumer behavior and sales data to identify opportunities for trade marketing initiatives.

      What We Are Looking For

      • 1-2 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in the Cannabis industry.
      • Deep understanding of and passion for cannabis
      • Strong understanding of the retail landscape across California.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trade partners.
      • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior and recommend new and effective trade marketing tactics.
      • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to work non-traditional schedule, including mandatory evening and weekend work, with days off occurring mid-week.
      • 21 years & older

      Compensation Description (hourly): The hourly pay range for this position in the selected city is $28.00 - $34.00.

      Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
