What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform virtual and field audits within established authority levels
- Review accounting and financial information to determine premium liabilities
- Communicate audit results and ensure understanding with policyholders and agents
- Maintain confidentiality of processed information and ensure compliance with policies
- Contribute effectively in cross-functional teams and may take on leadership roles
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of three years of relevant insurance experience, including two years of Premium Audit experience
- Knowledge of workers' compensation insurance and occupational classification codes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress towards or completion of industry-recognized professional designations (i.e., APA, IIA, AIU, CPCU, ARM)
- Experience in training and mentoring others in premium auditing
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal workers’ compensation regulations
- Ability to analyze and solve practical problems in various contexts
