      Minimum qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
      • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.

      Preferred qualifications:

      • Experience leading cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
      • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
      • Experience working with Customer Engineers and technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
      • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
      • Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software to Startups or Digital Native organizations, to drive business outcomes.
      • Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.

      The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and innovate using cloud technology, developed for security, reliability, and scalability. Our products support a wide range of customers, including developers, businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies.

      As a Field Sales Representative within our Startups organization, you will manage growth strategies across the startup ecosystem, engaging with executives to build relationships, understand challenges, and advocate for our solutions to support their growth and expansion goals.

      The US base salary range for this position is $114,000-$169,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary details vary by location and experience. Benefits information can be found on Google's website.

      Responsibilities

      • Build executive relationships with mid-market enterprise customers and partners to influence their technology and business decisions.
      • Develop expertise on customer business, including SaaS portfolios, growth plans, and technology strategies.
      • Lead account strategies to identify and develop growth opportunities, collaborating with teams and partners.
      • Manage business cycles, present to C-level executives, and negotiate terms.
      • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and lead customers through the business cycle to achieve goals.
